Save the Food Basket, Inc. was created in 1996 and for over eleven years, a small group of, thoughtful, committed people have given their time, energy and hearts in the hope that fewer of our community will go hungry or suffer malnutrition. Today, it remains a small grassroots organization that is client centered, serving over 400 people living with HIV/AIDS right here on Oahu, on a monthly basis. They provide fresh fish, meat, poultry, milk, eggs, vegetables and fruits as well as breads, rice, pastas, cereals and canned goods, along with a nutritious lunch and much needed support and aloha.
